Jennifer Hudson

Will headline a Christmas special for ABC. The Christmas special will be titled, "Jennifer Hudson: I'll Be Home for Christmas" and it will air in December. This special will feature "Jennifer" reliving her childhood holidays with musical performances filmed in locations that are specific to her upbringings; the Oscar winner's church, music academy and other areas within her hometown of Chicago.

Many websites are reporting that this special will earn Jennifer an Emmy award and maybe another Oscar!

Liam Gallagher

Funny - It's being reported that Liam and Noel's clothing line is failing due to over "priced" purchase tags.

Maybe Jay-Z was trying to send "Liam" a subliminal message by offering to work together.

Maybe he wanted to share his business moves in fashion with Noel and Liam or maybe not.

Man, when the launch of the "Pretty Green Label" was announced in June, their main website crashed within seconds...

Did any of these dudes go to college?

Rapper: Shyne

Despite being released from jail yesterday, Shyne faces deportation back to his country of birth.

Many media outlets are reporting that, "Shyne is being detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement at an unspecified facility in Western New York State".

Under U.S. immigration law, a non-citizen who committed a crime faces deportation back to their home land.

To date, Shyne is no longer referred to as "Jamal Barrows". In jail, he changed his name to "Moses Michael Leviy" and has converted to Judaism.

Eddie Murphy

HitFix has confirmed that Marlon Wayans auditioned for the role of "Richard Pryor" and is now in negotiations to play the iconic entertainment figure.

Many websites were reporting that Eddie Murply was scheduled to play this role. I am not sure what has happened but Marlon Wayans will star as the legendary comedian.

Funny - Eddie Murply has lost a major role to Marlon Wayans?

Beyonce Knowles:

..recently answered the following questions:

Q: The average person can't keep up your pace. How do you do it?

A: I'm an all-or-nothing type of woman. Either I'm doing absolutely nothing and relaxing -- reading a book, sitting by the ocean and not answering any questions -- or else I'm hands-on and giving 100 per cent, working really hard.

I was just on vacation for three weeks after touring for a couple of months. I have to schedule time to rest, rejuvenate and get inspired to work again. Now I'm definitely rested and thank God I had the rest -- that's the only way I would be able to get through a week like this. After three weeks without giving any answers or approvals and no performing, I came back like, "Yes! I'm ready to work!"

Q: What do you do to maintain your tour stamina? I heard a rumour that you run on a treadmill in heels and sing.

A: (Laughs heartily) No, I don't run on a treadmill in heels. That's a bit extreme. But I do practice my choreography in heels. And I have a rule that when I have my heels on, everyone has to have their heels on too. Sometimes the dancers are like, "Oh, God, we hope Beyonce comes in late," because I'll go all day. And in the end, I'll have blisters and my toes will have bruises. It's really hard sometimes. I still do all the boring things that everyone else does in regular workouts like squats and the treadmill. But I mainly get in shape from doing the choreography during those long 12-hour rehearsals for two months before a tour.

... On my days off from the tour, I do a lot of sightseeing. I love to visit churches and museums all over the world. The architecture in America is amazing but in Europe, there's so much history. I also started riding a bike on my days off with others like my assistant and stylist. It's amazing how I'm able to ride around on a bike. People kind of see it's me but since I'm on a bike, they think, "No, it's not her." And by the time they realize it's me, I'm already gone. It's great to do something normal every day. It keeps me grounded.

Q: Were you surprised by the immense popularity of the "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" video?

A: Out of all my videos, it was the least expensive and took the least amount of time. And it ended up being the most iconic. I absolutely didn't expect that -- I don't think anyone did. But I knew exactly what I wanted to do: Keep it simple. I've done so many things in videos with different hair and wardrobe changes, different sets and lights. I just wanted to keep this one really minimal. And once we got on the set, it was like, "Wait a minute. This is something special."

I'd seen this 1969 video (featuring Gwen Verdon), this one take of amazing Bob Fosse choreography set against a white background. And I thought, "Wow, despite all the technology we have now, wouldn't it be great to just strip it all down -- without a bunch of different camera shots and cuts, without any hair and wardrobe changes -- and make it all about the performance?" We had exactly 12 hours to film that video. We did it after shooting "If I Were a Boy," so I used the same director and same crew, renting out a studio in New Jersey. From the black leotards to incorporating some of Fosse's 1969 choreography into our modern choreography, it was just a conscious effort at keeping everything simple.

Q: You're just as busy on the entrepreneurial side, dating back to your association with L'Oreal.

A: I have worked with L'Oreal since I was 18 and it continues to be a great relationship. And with the clothing line that I started with my mother (Tina Knowles), I'm still making sure the brand is true to what I like and what I think my fans will like. Making it affordable for them was very important. At my concerts, we've offered seats for $10 so that people who can't afford it can attend.

I don't realize all that I do until I do interviews like this. And then I'm like, "Oh, my God, how is this possible?" But I usually break things up and focus on one thing at a time. It is a lot and thank God I love it, because I don't know how else I would be able to do it. You just make it happen.

Q: Have you lined up your next acting gig yet?

A: I did two movies last year, which was hard because I had the album and a tour. I'm on tour right now until March and I'll be going back and forth for some of the award shows. So probably next year after the tour something may happen. I've gotten a lot of scripts and out of those there are 10 that are very good. So I have to pick the one I really love.

All of the work I've put into my films has paid off because the type of scripts I'm getting now has completely changed. I've always wanted to do something darker and more dramatic because I'm much better at drama than anything else. I don't think anyone knew that until I played Etta James; people could see my range. And then I did the other movie, Obsessed. It was so much fun, especially the fight scenes. I fell in love with doing those stunts. That was my first time ever doing anything with action in it. Eventually, I would love to do something with a little more action in it.

I'm not in a rush because acting for me is fun -- something I do because I enjoy it. I don't have to do it. So I'm going to be patient and find the right film to work on next year or whenever it works out.

Q: What else is on your to-do list?

A: I'm interested in a lot of different things. I'd like to get involved in videogames since I really love Wii Fit. I think it would be a great idea to incorporate choreography because for me my workout is way more fun when it involves dancing as opposed to running on a boring treadmill. So I would love to do some kind of fitness game but incorporate dance and performance into it. I think a lot of women would enjoy that.

I also want to continue to produce films -- even if I'm not in them -- as well as a documentary on my life. Actually, I'd like to do a film loosely based on my father's (Mathew Knowles) childhood and school years. He's had an interesting life. But that will probably be in a couple of years.

Q: You can't end this interview without one last question: Any truth to the rumour about a Destiny's Child reunion tour and/or album?

A: I don't know if we would do another record anytime soon. And we haven't talked about a tour. That's just been something floating in the media. If people keep talking about it, maybe we'll do it. If that's what people want ... who knows? But whenever the girls need me or I need the girls, we're here for each other.

Jay-Z

...has made it public that he would "love" to work with "Liam" from the Group/band "Oasis".

According to 50 Cent:

"Hip-Hop has cool punk and Jay is the coolest punk in Hip-Hop. He’s big. And his take on it is [he’s] bigger than the art form and he won’t actually and compete. Battling has been a part of the culture"

According to Jay-Z:

"I hear SNOOP DOGG might be teaming up with Noel. If that's the case then I would love to work with Liam. Their music is tight and I think we could blend our styles well. When I teamed up with LINKIN PARK nobody expected that to work but we made a massive success of it. The same could happen with Liam....When you have two artists like us in a room just throwing about ideas you come up with something brilliant fairly easily. I don't know what he is up to now but he can give me a call."

Wait - It's been noted that Jay-Z had beef with Liam brother "Noel".

..from the Back Street Boys was recently diagnosed with the Swine Flu.

The rest of the Back Street Boys have tested negative but they were prescribed Tamiflu ..just in case.

Tiger Woods

...has become the first athlete to reach the "billionaire" mark.

He's the first to achieve this level of success.

As previously reported, Rapper Shyne is expected to be released from prison today.

The 30 year-old rapper (Jamal Barrow) was sentenced to 10 years in June of 2001 for charges stemming from a high-publicized 1999 shooting incident involving Diddy and Jennifer Lopez. During his eight-plus year sentence, the Brooklyn emcee was incarcerated at Riker's Island, Woodbourne and Clinton Correctional Facility.

John "Mr. Magic" Rivas

...has died.

According to the NY1 website:

The 53-year-old DJ died suddenly of an apparent heart attack on Friday. "Mr. Magic" had helped to put rap on the world stage by first bringing it to New York radio air waves.

Mr. Magic and his radio partner, DJ Marley Marl, first started working for WBLS in 1983.

Mr. Magic was from Brooklyn but spent time living in the Bronx. He was playing rap records on community radio stations in the late 1970s and early 1980s and had a big following. So the commercial station WBLS agreed to put him on the air.

Over the years, plenty of rappers said Mr. Magic was the reason they got in the game.

The late rapper Notorious B.I.G. mentioned Mr. Magic in his song "Juicy," singing, "Hanging pictures on my wall / every Saturday, rap attack, Mr. Magic, Marley Marl."

Ashley "A.J." Jewell

...The ex-fiance of singer Khandi Burruss has died.

Many media outlets are reporting that A.J. got into a heated arugment with a employee at the "Body Tap" strip club in Atlanta, Georgia. The heated argument escalated and lead to a parking out brawl.

Police have arrested employee Fredrick Richardson, who fought Jewell and has him chared him with voluntary manslaughter.

The associated press has reported that Ashley "A.J" Jewell was the co-owner of the strip club, which opened in March of 2008.

It is also important to note that Fredrick Richardson was present at the hospital, but police didn't know his age or if he had an attorney.

Jewell died from severe head injuries suffered during the brawl and police found his body resting in the parking lot, at the Body Tap Club. He was pronounced dead at Piedmont Hospital.

Officials have not released the age of Jewell, who was the father of six children.

Alexsandra Wright

....has filed a paternity suit against Matthew Knowles.

Many Websites are reporting that Alexsandra Wright has claimed that Mathew Knowles is the biological father to her unborn child; reportedly..she's six months pregnant.

It is said that Ms. Wright works in the business of name brand marketing and promotions.

Wright has pulled all images of herself from off the internet prior to filing this paternity suit.

The case was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court. Wright will be represented by Neal Harsh, Lamar Odom’s attorney. Harsh reps Odom in the apparently still pending Khloe Kardashian Lamar Odom prenuptial case.

The media is awaiting Mathew Knowles to address this issue.

I wonder if this is the same "AlexSandra Wright" that starred in the movie "Babyboy".

Funny!

He had dark tattoos on his eyebrows and around his eyes, a pink tattoo around his lips and a dark tattoo on the front of his scalp. They also made a note that Michael was balding and did suffer from a reduce in pigment, which left patches of white skin throughout his body.

Update: Solange Knowles

During Solange's appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show, she revealed that she threw away money on the purchase on "Fake Hair". The purchase of this "Fake Hair" cost her up at $50,000 a year.

According to Solange Knowles:

"Realistically I was spending about $40,000-$50,000 a year and probably half of my life, I grew up in a hair salon, my mum owned a hair salon...There was always this feeling of always wanting to be in the salon once or twice a week and I got a perm pretty early - I was four."

When Solange stop wearing her wigs this year, she responded to the media's lash out by stating, "I just wanted to be free of the bondage that black women sometimes put themselves in with their hair...This phase in my life I want to spend the time the energy and the money on something else and not in the hair salon."

Wait - Solange!

You grew up in your mother's hair salon.

You and your sister were used as guinea pigs, as your mother sort her signature hair styles...as a so called "stylist".

At the age of four, your "hair" wasn't ready for a perm. This is the reason why your hair has never grown pass the length of a boy cut and you will continue to sport a low hair cut.

Mike Vike

When Mike Vick was arrested in 2007 for dog fighting, Nike severed ties with him. As a result, Mike's income decreased by $1.5 million.

Washington Redskins: Sean Taylor

Two years after Sean Taylor's death, his mother and immediate family members are facing "Hardships":

It was reported that, Sean was hugely generous with his family during his life, but when he died intestate, his $5.8 million estate passed largely into the hands of his young daughter and longtime girlfriend; his mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, among others, were left out of the loop.

How can this happen? He wasn't married to his long time girlfriend and help me to understand the reasons why "his" estate wasn't passed down to his mother?

Jay-Z

The rapper is featured in the new issue of NME. During his interview with "Ian Brown", he reveals that the "Blueprint 3" album was originated in "Manchester".

According to Jay-Z:

..Kanye West flew to Manchester in December of 2007, to give him the beats for this CD.

" That was the night 'The Blueprint 3' started...Kanye flew to Manchester to give me the beats. He gave me 10 tracks, already sequenced, like, 'Here's the album, just rap on it'. Literally, 'This is the album start, it should come on like this, and end like this'. I'm like, 'Heeey, let me have a say-so in this! A couple of them stayed on the album, laid the foundation. That was the night when 'The Blueprint 3' was born. That was the seed."
