Ludacris:

..."stiffed" a law firm in Atlanta for legal fees and expenses.

According to Courthouse News Service:

Carlton Fields P.A. sued the Atlanta-based rapper and his Ludacris Foundation for $61,820 in Fulton County Superior Court. The firm says it defended the rapper, whose given name is Christopher Bridges, in a 2007 complaint for personal injuries and negligence: Lawrence A. Hyde v. Roberta J. Shields, Christopher B. Bridges and Ludacris Foundation.

Carlton Fields claims it also advanced the defendants out-of-pocket expenses. The law firm says it began representing Ludacris in March 2008 but stopped providing legal services in April 2009 as it had not received the outstanding balance of $61,860.20. It wants the money, plus court costs.

According to Shakira:

"I needed a break from me. The universe is so broad, I cannot be at the centre of it. So I decided to go to the university and study history for a summer course, just to kind of switch gears, taste the student life...I used to wear a cap and a big backpack, I looked like a boy. I didn't get recognised. Some people looked at me very suspiciously, a few people asked me, but I told them my name was Isabelle. I would go to university over and over again if I could. I should care less. It has been 20 years, but I still care about my career. I care about the music. I'm not normal,".

According to several websites, Shine is the leader of the Wubb Girlz and when Wubbzy appears on the "Wuzzleburg Idol", Wubbzy has hopes of performing with the Wubb Girlz.

Wait, that sounds like Solange's life...

Think - When DestinyChild was performing and Beyonce was the leader of this girl group. Solange wanted to ______________ with the girls from DestinyChild. Instead of becoming a member, Solange performed as a back up dancer.

Now she's a solo-ist...

Trick Daddy

..is preparing to release a new album and a book.

In 1998, Trick Daddy was diagnosed with lupus and within his new book, he opens up about his struggles within the inner city and having to live with lupus.

According to Trick Daddy:

“I went to the doctor, like, 12 years ago. She took all kinds of test, because I was trying to get rid of what we call dry skin; she did biopsies and blood tests and swab tests. She told me I have lupus”.

“I am allergic highly to the sun, that’s my worst enemy. It’s like an AK-47 (gun) with a double clip on it, …a lot of people try to cover it up with regular make-up. It makes your skin pigmented. You can go from dark to light and not light to dark. You have to cover it up and conceal it. My mana had 11 children from 10 different men. If she can live with that, I know I can live with this”.

Trick Daddy, you are not alone. Michael Jackson had lupus but his doctor told him that it was...something else. His father had ________ amount of children and it seems as if his sister LeToya is the other child who suffers from Lupus.

Funny - during that episode, Khandi stated that Big Papa showed her a ring that he bought from Kim. Khandi didn't state that, Big Papa shared that he was going to propose to Kim. Clearly, Kim jumped the gun on this one - so to speak.

She also informed that she's no longer friends with cast mate "Nene".

According to Kim:

"I'm not engaged anymore...Big Papa and I ended it. At the end of the day, he will always be the love of my life, but it's time for me to move on..."

In regards to Nene:

Rapper Shyne

It's being reported that Shyne's father wrote a letter to New York's Governor David Paterson to seek a pardon for his son, that will prevent a deportation to his native country of Belize.

According to sixshot news:

Belizean Prime Minister Dean Barrow, the father of former Bad Boy rapper Shyne, has reportedly written to New York Governor David Paterson asking him to pardon his son so that he is not deported back to the Belize - the country of his birth.

Dean Barrow revealed to The Belizean yesterday (October 9) that he sought help from Charles Ogletree - Harvard law professor and a member of President Barack Obama's inner circle to assist Shyne in resisting deportation to Belize.

The prime minister told reporters he wrote the letter to the New York governor at the request of Professor Ogletree.

"I have not had a response," Barrow told reporters. “I have spoken to people close to the governor and I have been assured that the letter has been received and that it is under active consideration. But I can't say that I am able to call in any favors such that would guarantee that he is able to remain in the States."

Barrow also revealed for the first time Friday that shortly after Shyne was sentenced to prison, he had written a letter to the then governor of New York.

In that letter Mr. Barrow said he asked that his son be repatriated to Belize to serve his sentence as that was what Shyne wanted at the time. "That never went anywhere. Just as well as it is now clear that he wants to remain in the U.S.A. to continue his career," stated the Prime Minister.

Larenz Tate:

The tech savvy Actor recently attended the launch event for three new Sony Vaio products and the Windows 7 Operating system at Guastavion's in New York City on October 7th.

Love Jones

During a recent interview with "Clay Cane", Nia Long spoke openly about a possible sequel to the movie "Love Jones":

I have to ask you about “Love Jones.” Are you surprised how people are obsessed with that movie even to this day?

Making the movie, it was just so close to what I know as being Black - Black love. It’s the closest that you were going to ever get in my opinion - that film is timeless. For years, they’ve been saying, “Let’s do a sequel.” I heard that it’s possible there might be a sequel in the works that’s going straight to video with two other actors because I would never do that and Larenz [Tate] wouldn’t either. I think that’s going to be the biggest mistake they could ever make. It’s a cult classic and people love that movie. If you try to serve that up with different actors and a sequel straight to video, you’re going to piss a lot of people off.

I need Nina Mosley! [Laughs]
Right! It’s not even about my own ego, it’s just I do understand what it means to us. I do understand what people expect. Larenz and I made a pact, I haven’t talked to him in years, we would never do it unless it was done properly. There is no reason to touch something that was done so beautifully. Not even us as actors but just the story, the visuals, the dialogue and the music. It was rich with textures.

***

Imagine that, a sequel to Love Jones without the original "Nina and Darius". I am sure Nia Long and Larenz Tate and the producers can work something out.

President Barack Obama:

Our Commander In Chief has won the Nobel Peace Prize.

Rightfully so, President Barack Obama stepped gracefully into the "selected" position of Presidency and managed to unite all races. After spending nine months as President of The United States, he has pushed America forward and his critics aside.

Upon hearing that he has won the Nobel Peace Prize, our Commander In Chief made the following statement:

Method Man

..want you to know that it is very important to file your taxes!

According to Method Man:

"When you don't file, that's what happens. I'm learning my lesson...You've got to file. You can't be waiting for the last minute. And I hadn't spoken to my CPA in three or four years. I don't like things being blown out of proportion. Let's be clear. I didn't get arrested for not paying them. I got arrested for not filing. It's not a money thing, because I paid it."

The time has come for these so-called celebrities to handle their own affairs, especially if - not handling them - can lead to serving time in a jail.

Forest Whitaker

....has revealed that he'll star in a remake of "Jekyll And Hyde" along with the rapper / actor 50 Cent.

The project will be based on, "a modern adaptation of the 1886 novel The Strange Case Of Dr Jekyll And Mr Hyde".

According to Forest:

"We're still figuring out what we're going to do, if I am going to be doing that or not - if I end up doing it, I would be playing Jekyll and he would be playing Hyde....They just turned in a new draft, it's based on the book really strongly. It's a father-son kind of relationship. It's also interesting because we are dealing with similar things. You know, this Jekyll has a lot of issues and problems personally, himself. Hidden passions, hidden perversions - and it's acted out by 50. Abel Ferrara directs it. It would be very classic. It will be interesting to play Jekyll. I think he's interesting."

Whitney Houston:

...has confirmed that she will perform live in the UK, on the hit show, X Factor.
