Singer Sade

“They’ll find me out. It’s like The Wizard of Oz. They’ll find out there’s nothing there. As for collaborations, I’m collaborating with the band and do what we do. I see myself as a member of this band who does these songs that we write.” ---Singer Sade was quoted before turning down rapper Jay-Z on a request for a collaboration. The singer has had a change of heart. It has been reported that the singer has requested that Jay-Z provide a rap verse for her track "Moon & Sky". The rapper Jay-Z has responded to this request and the remix of "Moon & Sky" will appear on Sade's greatest hits compilation, Ultimate Collection that's due in stores on May 3rd.

  1. Guess she was talking about JayZ when she said, "They'll find me out" because right after she decided to collaborate with her band members only, JayZ wasn't having it and FOUND HER.

Now JAYZ probably hit her with a gag order that doesn't allow her to collab with any other rappers.

  3. How could Jay Z stop her from working with other artist? Its not like she's on his lable or contracted to him in any way. That liver lipped kneegrow isnt that powerful.

  4. It's the people behind JayZ that's making moves for him. He push a lot of products for major companies. I am talking about fortune 500 companies.

Its strange that right after Sade denied a request to work with Jay-Z, she did the interview with the latimes and a few months later, Jay-Z appears on one of her tracks. I mean, she's actually smart. If you want to listen to Sade and other artists. But a seperate CD!

Sade has a band that she worked with for many years and this was wayyy before Jay-Z became a stage name.
