It has been reported that over 700 hundred people attended a private (invite-only) Catholic Funeral Service for the Singer Teena Marie on Monday January 10, 2011. The singer was cremated and laid to rest at the Forest Lawn Cemetery's Liberty Hall. During the private memorial service, the singer was honored by Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Queen Latifah, Shanice Wilson and Motown founder Berry Gordy Jr.

I did not know Teena was cremated, but I did hear her funeral was private. I wonder are they going to release her autopsy.
