R&B singer Chris Brown appeared in court today for a probation progress report hearing in Los Angeles, California. In 2009, he was given a sentence of five years probation and ordered to complete 180 days of community service and
a year of domestic violence counseling -- for assaulting his then ex-girlfriend, singer Rihanna. Thus far, a judge has given the singer nothing but praise during his previous progress report hearings. During this scheduled hearing the judge congratulated the singer for finishing the yearlong program on domestic violence. At this point, Chris will no longer have to report to court every three months for progress hearings:
