Rapper 50 Cent

Last week, it was reported that two men were found hiding in unoccupied property owned by the rapper 50 cent (in New Britain). Santos Padila and Alexander Hernandez were arrested and charged in connection to the break-in. A day later, police charged 19 year old Alexander Hernandez with attempted murder in connection with a double shooting that took place on October 18th - where both men (Santos and Alexander) were injured.

Many websites reported that two men were found hiding in 50 Cent mansion but somehow they failed to mention that his 17-acre estate in Farmington, has been on the market for three years and it seem as if no one is interested in purchasing.

Another website has reported that the rapper spends $450,000 ($175,000 is spent on security) a year to keep his 21 bedroom - 37 bathroom estate maintained.

Here's the actual amounts rapper 50 cent spent on Mike Tyson's old money pit:

50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, bought the property for $4.1 million, but reportedly spent between $6 and $10 million on renovations. The mega-mansion also has been owned by boxer Mike Tyson and was built by real estate swindler Benjamin Sisti.

The rapper first put the property on the market in 2007 with an asking price of $18.5 million. It has since been reduced three times to $9,999,999, the price as of a month ago.

  1. This is part of the main reason why Mike Tyson went broke. He didn't realize that he was wasted money that should've been put into his retirement plan.

I don't believe rappers have a retirement plans.

hundreds of people were swindled out of their savings, and all they had to show for it were fake land deeds

Pretty much sums up the life and hard times of Mike Tyspn. Now 50 cent is the new target.
