They say that a recording artist never make money off of their CD's..instead, the real money flows in through endorsements and the release of "Books" and "DVDs". If you don't believe, me....well - ask Beyonce. There are several biographies and memoirs in print.
Mathew Knowles is receiving a nice percentage off these.
There's also a book titled, "Contemporary Black Biography: Profiles From the International Black Community". It has profiles on Beyonce and Jay-Z's family tree. In addition, there's a reason why this book cost $130.00....
