"Ahmir" is a up and coming r&B group that's on schedule to replace "Boys 2 men" and to take the shine away from "Day26".

Who do these guys think they are, Boyz II Men? Probably not. They aren’t bad, per say, but there is just something about them that seems a little... “cookie cutter.” It seems as though they were tailor-made for the R&B genre, and there is definitely a spot for them. But they are doing everything that has already been done before. That’s not good.
Ahmir is a group that was formed in 2002, and their members are from all over the Northeast. Sing-Sing, Big Mike, Mr. Jones, and KC make up this rising foursome, but I don’t know how far they can go. Eventually, they could make it into the mainstream of R&B music, but I don’t know how long it will take fans to get tired of them.
Jay-Z considers himself "the answer" as he is known to fill the "void" that's missing within the entertainment industry.
Is this his answer to the missing boy groups within the genre of R&B music?
