President Barack Obama

"I think that I've learned that America is incredibly resilient. We went through as bad of a financial crisis as anything in our lifetimes. And you know, the country has bounced back. It's not bounced back all the way, but people are tough, and folks work hard, and they're not easily shaken. It has been so impressive to me the way folks have been able to just keep goin' about their business. Some of them in very difficult circumstances. I think I've learned about myself that I'm pretty resilient too. I'll get knocked down a couple of times. But when I read letters about folks who've lost their jobs and haven't been able to find one, sent out resume after resume, and then finally after a year and a half, they get hired, you know, that inspires me. It says to me, "You know what, whatever I'm goin' through, it's nothin' like what families around the country are goin' through. And if they are able to keep goin' even when things don't go the way they want then I sure can as well." - President Barack Obama says after Steve Kroft of 60 Minutes asked, "What's the most important thing you've learned about your two years here, about yourself, about the job?"...click here in case you missed the President's recent segment on 60 Minutes.

Jay-Z

"We didn't need dirty money to start Roc-A-Fella" - Quoting: Jay Z

Well, it seems as if the rapper will soon choke on his own words. In his book decoded, the rapper shared a potential drug bust:

Soon Jay-Z was onto bigger deals. He and his crew traveled up and down the East Coast, sourcing and unloading drugs. Jay-Z recounts the time, in 1994, when he was driving down I-95. He had a stash of crack in a fake compartment in the sunroof of his Maxima when he got pulled over by cops for “no good reason.” The police knew they couldn’t search his car without probable cause, so they called the K-9 unit — the dogs would be able to sniff out the drugs. But the unit didn’t show up, and the cops had to let him go. A minute later, he saw the K-9 unit speeding down the highway in the other direction, but too late — he was already home free. It’s a moment he would later recount in his 2004 hit song, “99 Problems” with the lyric: “I got 99 problems but a bitch ain’t one.” At the time, Jay-Z was slammed for the misogynistic use of the word “bitch” — but, as he reveals in his book, he was actually referring to a female dog, or the dogs that never caught up to him that day. “It would have changed my life if that dog had been a few seconds faster,” he writes.

The rapper goes on to share that in the same year (1994) his record label, Roc-a-fella was created. In case you haven't heard, the co-founder Kareem "Biggs" Burke was arrested last month. Here's the jist of a article posted on a random website:

Raz B

The web is at a buzz regarding Marques Houston filing a restraining order against Raz B. Well, the restraining order was filed shortly after Raz B gave a damaging interview with Vibe Magazine.

Read:

VIBE: Vibe's far from the first interview you've done this month. Do you feel like your life is being threatened?

Raz B: There’s pressure coming, but I have a lot of protection and when you work for God you have nothing to worry about. People ask why are you coming out now but this has been going on for a very long, Chris has been molesting boys for a while.

How many boys total do you think it's been?

A lot of people share their stories with me. And it's all crazy. Chris used to have me have sex with him and he used to suck my penis. This stuff is satanic, but I thank God for my testimony so I can help someone else.

How long was this going on for?

Between the ages of 13 and 17.

Were you threatened with anything if you refused to have sex with him?

He would text me and say well you know what I did. The confusion is Chris did molest me but they thought he was putting his penis in my bootyhole. But that was Marques Houston. I'm very vocal [now]. I'm not afraid of anything.

Were there any condoms involved?

Um, maybe once it was unprotected. I believe so.

But did you ever adamantly say 'No'?

Finally when I was able to realize these niggas were really gay I was able to leave.

You didn't realize you were taking part in homosexual acts before 17?

Well I didn’t know what the fuck was going on. I was a young kid and these people took advantage of me.

Since this went on for so long, I imagine you may questioned your sexuality? After awhile…

I knew I always liked women and I’ll forever like women. I've never had any male on male relationships. Besides from my past, I’ve never been with a man.

You didn't question yourself in the slightest? Did you not want to even think about the possibility?

As I got older as I got enlightened. Before I lived w Chris I was speaking in tongues. When you got all this money around you're very blinded. As you get older things start to change. But Chris Stokes is a monster and I feel sorry for Marques Houston.

Have you heard if Marques still having sex with young men or boys?

I’ve heard stories that he's had sex with very well known [male] dancers in the game.

So he's a gay man with a problem...

I don’t know Marques like that to say. But any person trying to mess with kids and have sex like that… that’s gay to me homie.

Damn. What kind of psychological damage has your past done to you?

It's done a lot. I'm traumatized. I had to sit back and think. I have a five-year-old son now, so what is my son gonna think when he grows up? He's gonna know that his father spoke the truth. I have no shame in my game, God's going to handle it.

Why not just take Chris Stokes and Marques Houston to court?

That’s a demonic system.

Do you ever get scared that you could follow in the pattern of Chris Stokes and do this to another boy?

Beyonce

"...I’m just shooting down the rumors before they start...They do that every slow news day, this is like the fifth time. I think we have five kids now. No truth, but I wonder when people will stop giving it relevance... Quoting: Gay-Z

As the quote states, Gay-Z want you all to know that his so-called wife isn't pregnant. However, he want you all to focus on issues thats taken place around the world - and - he want rappers to rap about important issues because he's tired of rapping about women, cars, jewels, bitches, diamonds, drugs - you know the topics that cultivated his career.

Kayne West

"... I threw a Molotov cocktail on my career last year, in a way, and I had to come back as a better person..."Quoting: Kayne West

Its clear that Michael Jackson has been missed within the industry and industry insiders couldn't wait to stomp over his creative work. Yeah, we all watched MTV and BET stream "Runaway" on their networks and after it was aired, it validated what we all (including industry insiders) believe and thats - the void onced filled by Michael Jackson is still empty. Maybe Hype Williams presented this to Michael Jackson and it was rejected, so Hype sold it to Kayne West, the struggling artist of 2010 or maybe the meaning of Kayne West video rest of a deeper level...

Floacist

"...Floetic Soul was inspired by the understanding that my original Floetic concept of ‘poetic delivery with musical intent’ had not come to an end, even though my group, Floetry, had completed its cycle. I was left with the realization that I still had music in my mind, my heart and my soul." Quoting: The Floacist

Well damn, that was deep! lol

It you haven't heard of the Floacist, you might remember this artist during her time within the R&B group (or duo) Floetry. Floetry once consist of Marsha Ambrosius ("the Songstress") and Natalie Stewart ("the Floacist"). The two has part ways and both are pursuing solo careers. It seems as if it was easy to transform "the songstress" image to suit the demands of Hollywood, however it seems as if it was a struggle to soften the image of the Floacist.

The Floacist has new video with Musiq Soulchild and its streaming on youtube. If you missed it, click here.
